USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) meeting Sully H.W. Bush - July 27, 2022

Wednesday, July 27, 2022 - The last visit in July on the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) the pups and volunteers provided companionship and smiles for the Sailors before the carrier heads out for deployment. This visit was special because Sully H.W. Bush, the yellow Lab who was former President George H.W. Bush’s service dog was able to join the crew!

The past 4 Wednesdays on the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77), who has helped who more? This has been an incredibly uplifting experience for the Volunteer Puppy Raisers.

This was also a special time to be able to officially announce the puppies names (inspired by the George H.W. Bush crew) Meet Avenger, CAVU, Pearl, Crew, Sailor, Liberty, and Sully.

The 8th pup from the litter is Hudson, who was named and sponsored by ODU Football team.

What a difference a few hours on a Wednesday can do. The photos say it all with so many smiles!
