Veteran Applications

Serving Those Who Keep Us Free

We train Service Dogs for Veterans & Wounded Warriors with service-connected PTSD, MST, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and mobility impairments. We do not train Guide Dogs or Hearing Dogs, and can not provide “hypoallergenic dogs”.

Because Mutts With A Mission is accredited by Assistance Dogs International (ADI), Veterans and their Service Dogs are entitled to full veterinary care benefits from the VA. This privilege is not afforded to Service Dogs from other organizations.

Do NOT go out and purchase a dog.
Not every dog is qualified to be a Service Dog, and we have very strict requirements.
If you own a dog younger than 12 months that you would like to be evaluated, please visit our Owner-Trained section.

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
